M\u00e4rz 2026 war <em>Prof. Dr.<\/em> <em>Emanuel V. Towfigh<\/em> in seiner Position als <em>\u00bb<\/em>Distinguished Scholar in Residence\u00ab an der <a href=\"https:\/\/english.pku.edu.cn\/\">Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL)<\/a> in Shenzhen (China), um an den \u00bbSTL Lectures on Equality &amp; Citizenship\u00ab mitzuwirken<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"1,3\">. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"1,5\"><span class=\"citation-52\">Gemeinsam mit seinen Kolleg:innen <a href=\"https:\/\/stl.pku.edu.cn\/faculty\/faculty\/GiladAbiri.html\"><em>Gilad Abiri<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stl.pku.edu.cn\/faculty\/faculty\/a4087.html\"><em>Sarah Ganty<\/em><\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/people.ceu.edu\/dimitry-vladimirovich_kochenov\"><em>Dimitry V. Kochenov<\/em><\/a> fungierte er als Mitveranstalter dieser internationalen Tagung, die sich mit grundlegenden Fragen der Gleichheit und des Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaftsrechts befasste<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"1,7\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-path-to-node=\"2,1\"><span class=\"citation-51\">Im ersten Panel zum Thema \u00bbGleichheit\u00ab diskutierte <em>Professor Towfigh<\/em> als Respondent die Keynote von <em>Prof. Dr.<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jura.uni-muenster.de\/de\/apps\/personenliste\/prof-dr-niels-petersen\/\"><em>Niels Petersen<\/em><\/a>, die der Frage nachging, unter welchen Bedingungen die Staatsangeh\u00f6rigkeit zu einem unzul\u00e4ssigen Diskriminierungsgrund wird<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"2,3\">. In der rechtswissenschaftlichen Debatte geht es hierbei vor allem darum, die Grenze zwischen legitimen staatlichen Differenzierungen \u2013 etwa beim Wahlrecht oder Sozialleistungen \u2013 und v\u00f6lkerrechtswidrigen Benachteiligungen von Ausl\u00e4ndern zu definieren. I<\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"2,5\"><span class=\"citation-50\">n einer hochkar\u00e4tig besetzten Runde mit Kollegen der <a href=\"https:\/\/law.yale.edu\/\">Yale Law School<\/a>, der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cuhk.edu.hk\/english\/index.html\">Chinese University of Hong Kong<\/a> und der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ku.dk\/en\">Universit\u00e4t Kopenhagen<\/a> erl\u00e4uterte <em>Professor Towfigh<\/em> die Auswirkungen dieser Konzepte auf grenz\u00fcberschreitende Rechtsverh\u00e4ltnisse.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-path-to-node=\"3,1\"><span class=\"citation-49\">Das Programm wurde durch ein zweites Panel zum Thema \u00bbStaatsangeh\u00f6rigkeitsprivileg\u00ab erg\u00e4nzt, das von <em>Prof.<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/law.temple.edu\/contact\/peter-j-spiro\/\"><em>Peter J. Spiro<\/em><\/a> von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.temple.edu\/\">Temple University<\/a> mit einer Keynote eingeleitet wurde<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"3,3\">. Er\u00f6rtert wurde, inwieweit der Geburtsort und die damit verbundene Nationalit\u00e4t heute als eine Art modernes St\u00e4ndesystem fungieren, das den Zugang zu globaler Mobilit\u00e4t und Wohlstand regelt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-path-to-node=\"3,5\"><span class=\"citation-48\">Die Veranstaltung bot eine wertvolle Plattform f\u00fcr den rechtsvergleichenden Dialog und st\u00e4rkte die wissenschaftliche Kooperation der Professor:innen der verschiedenen Universit\u00e4ten.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"rl-gallery-container \" id=\"rl-gallery-container-1\"
