Mai 2017 veranstalteten das Gleichstellungsreferat der Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Rechtswissenschaft der Universit\u00e4t Hamburg, die Bucerius Law School und der Bucerius Alumni e.V. gemeinsam eine Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema \u201eWeibliche Wege in die Wissenschaft\u201c. Im Fokus stand die Frage, warum der Professorinnenanteil in den Rechtswissenschaften deutlich unter dem allgemeinen Schnitt liegt, w\u00e4hrend er Anteil weiblicher Studierender kontinuierlich zunimmt. <\/p>\n<p>Die Veranstaltung begann mit einer Analyse der bestehenden Hindernisse f\u00fcr Frauen. In einem Videostatement von Prof. Emanuel Towfigh wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass schon im ersten Staatsexamen ein Geschlechtereffekt zu erkennen sei. Prof. Dr. Emanuel Towfigh stellte seine rechtsempirischen Forschungen im Hinblick auf Geschlechtereffekte in der Benotung im ersten Examen vor: Er legte dar, dass seinen Daten zu Folge ein Geschlechtereffekt sowohl im Hinblick auf die Leistungsentwicklung in Examensvorbereitungskursen als auch bez\u00fcglich der Benotung im ersten Staatsexamen feststellbar sei, der sich in der m\u00fcndlichen Pr\u00fcfung nochmal verst\u00e4rke. Danach schnitten Frauen, die dieselbe Abiturnote wie M\u00e4nner haben, statistisch im Schnitt schlechter in den Examenspr\u00fcfungen ab. Towfigh nimmt an, dass die Ursachen dieses Geschlechtereffektes multifaktoriell sind. Einer der Gr\u00fcnde k\u00f6nnte \u2013 seinen Zahlen zufolge \u2013 darin bestehen, dass Frauen sich weniger oft in kompetitive Gruppen einordneten.
