The conference titled \u00bbComparative AI Law: Regulating the Future – A Transnational Perspective\u00ab<\/strong> will be held on 28-29 September 2024 at Peking University School of Transnational Law<\/a> in Shenzhen, China.<\/p>\n

The event focuses on the legal and regulatory challenges posed by the rapid development of AI technologies. It aims to explore how different countries are addressing issues such as privacy, liability, intellectual property rights, market transformation, content moderation, and the impact of AI on the legal profession.<\/p>\n

Through a series of panels and discussions, experts will compare AI regulations from various global perspectives, highlighting the need for interoperable and effective legal frameworks. The goal is to gain insights into the global AI regulatory landscape and promote responsible AI innovation and governance.<\/p>\n

The conference is being organized by Gilad ABIRI<\/a>, DAI Xin<\/a><\/em> and Emanuel TOWFIGH, <\/em>and sponsored by Peking University School of Transnational Law and the BRYTER Center for Digitalization & Law<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emanuel V. Towfigh<\/em> will give a presentation entitled \u00bbChallenges and Implications of Automated Decision-Making Systems in Anti-Discrimination Law\u00ab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
