It was led on a pro bono basis by lawyer <em>Mariela Witt<\/em>. She specialises in migration law and is the founder and owner of the Berlin law firm <a href=\"https:\/\/justeco-kanzlei.de\/\">Justeco<\/a>. The topics discussed included the various protection statuses for people seeking refuge, current changes to asylum and migration law and the asylum application process.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9776 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.towfigh.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/Logo-CMS_Stiftung_4C-CMYK-scaled-e1713766314642.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\" height=\"50\" \/>Thanks to the generous financial support of the <strong>CMS Foundation <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cms-stiftung.de\/\">(www.cms-stiftung.de)<\/a>, catering could be provided for the participants. The CMS Foundation was established in October 2015 by the international law firm CMS Germany in order to fulfil its social responsibility more effectively. All people should be able to rely on the legal system\u2014regardless of their origin, social and family status, educational background or financial means.
